Meet your driver (and guide, if booked) in Bishkek (hotel or Manas International Airport). Begin your journey through Kyrgyzstan’s heartland, crossing the dramatic Too-Ashuu Pass and descending into the wide alpine plains of Suusamyr Valley.

After breakfast, drive around 1 hour to the trailhead of Alatay Lake. The route begins with a gradual ascent through open valleys, followed by a scenic climb along a mountain gorge.
You may choose to ride horses instead of hiking if you prefer a more comfortable journey. Horse riding significantly reduces the effort and allows you to reach the lake faster while enjoying the landscapes at an easier pace. Upon reaching Alatay Lake, enjoy lunch on the shore while admiring or swimming in the crystal-clear turquoise water framed by high peaks.
After lunch, begin the descent back to the starting point and return to Toktogul by car. In the evening, drive to the local beach on Toktogul Reservoir and enjoy a relaxing swim to finish the day.

Arrive in Osh for a relaxed evening or a stroll through the bustling bazaar. Optional visit to Sulaiman-Too Sacred Mountain and museum (time permitting).

Experience the traditional nomadic way of travel as you ride on horseback from the high alpine lake of Son-Kul down to the Kyzart Valley. Your luggage will be transported by car to Kyzart village. Traverse sweeping mountain passes, take in panoramic views of vast pastures and snowcapped peaks, and descend through wildflower-covered slopes to the village of Kyzart. Your local horse guide will lead the way as you journey through one of Kyrgyzstan's most authentic landscapes. Travel along Issyk-Kul’s southern shoreline, stopping at Skazka Canyon—a surreal landscape of wind-shaped red rocks. Continue to Jeti Oguz, known for its red sandstone cliffs like the “Broken Heart.” End the day in Karakol, a historic town at the foot of the Terskey Alatau mountains.

Return to Bishkek with a hike into Kok Moynok Canyon, often called Kyrgyzstan’s Grand Canyon for its stunning red formations. Later, stop at the Burana Tower, a UNESCO-protected site dating back to the 10th century, before arriving in the capital. The hike is optional and can be skipped for a relaxed return to Bishkek.
