  • 🛡 TRAVEL INSURANCE
    All travelers are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellations during their journey in Kyrgyzstan.

    Mars Travelstan is not responsible for expenses that are not covered by the traveler’s personal insurance policy.
  • HEALTH & FITNESS
    Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically prepared for the selected tour activities, including trekking, horseback riding, high-altitude travel, and remote mountain expeditions.

    Please inform us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or physical limitations before the tour begins.
  • LIABILITY
    Mars Travelstan and its partners take all reasonable measures to ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality travel services throughout the journey.

    However, we are not liable for delays, injuries, losses, damages, or itinerary changes caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, political situations, border restrictions, or circumstances beyond our operational control.

    Our liability is limited to the value of the booked travel services.
  • VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
    Travelers are fully responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, permits, and other required travel documents before entering Kyrgyzstan.

    Mars Travelstan can provide visa guidance and pre-arrival travel assistance; however, visa approvals remain solely at the discretion of the relevant authorities.
💳 BOOKING & PAYMENT
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required.
The deposit secures your reservation, accommodations, transportation, and travel logistics arrangements.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before the tour begins, unless otherwise agreed.
For custom expeditions or large group tours, alternative payment arrangements may be discussed individually.
We accept payments via bank transfer, cash (USD, EUR, KGS), or secure online payment systems.
Bank transfer fees or international transaction charges are the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.
Once we receive your deposit, you will receive written confirmation and all essential tour details.
This includes your itinerary, accommodation information, transportation details, and pre-arrival travel assistance.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA USAGE
During tours, Mars Travelstan may occasionally capture photographs or videos for promotional and marketing purposes.

If a traveler prefers not to appear in any media content, they should inform us in advance or notify the guide during the tour.
RESPONSIBLE & SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL
Mars Travelstan supports responsible and sustainable tourism practices that respect local communities, cultural traditions, wildlife, and natural environments across Kyrgyzstan.

We encourage all travelers to minimize environmental impact and travel respectfully throughout their journey.
SOLO TRAVELERS
Solo travelers joining private or customized tours are responsible for ensuring that the selected itinerary matches their personal comfort level, physical abilities, and travel expectations.
❌ Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • If you cancel your booking, the following fees apply:
    • 30+ days before tour start: Full refund minus deposit.
    • 15–29 days before tour start: 50% refund.
    • Less than 14 days before tour start: No refund.
  • If Mars Travel cancels a tour (for example, due to safety, weather, or unforeseen conditions),
    You will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative tour of equal value.
  • CHANGES TO ITINERARY
    Mars Travel reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary if necessary for safety, weather conditions, or logistical reasons.
    We always try to maintain the original route and activities, and we will inform guests of any significant changes as early as possible.
  • Behavior & Responsibility
    We kindly ask all travelers to respect local customs, cultural traditions, nature, wildlife, and fellow travelers throughout the journey.

    Mars Travelstan reserves the right to remove participants from the tour without refund in cases of dangerous, disruptive, illegal, or disrespectful behavior.
  • COMPLAINTS
    If you experience any issue during the tour, please inform your guide or tour manager immediately so we can resolve it on the spot.

    Formal complaints can be submitted in writing within 7 days after the tour ends.
ADVENTURE TRAVEL & ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
Travel in Kyrgyzstan may involve inherent risks associated with mountain environments, remote regions, high altitudes, changing weather conditions, horseback riding, trekking, and off-road travel.

By participating in any tour or expedition with Mars Travelstan, travelers acknowledge these risks and accept personal responsibility for their participation in adventure activities.
HIGH ALTITUDE & MOUNTAIN TRAVEL
Some tours may take place at high altitudes and in remote mountain regions where weather, road conditions, and physical demands can vary significantly.

Travelers should carefully assess their physical condition and consult a medical professional if necessary before participating in high-altitude activities.
WEATHER & SEASONAL CONDITIONS

Travel conditions in Kyrgyzstan can change rapidly depending on weather, road accessibility, mountain passes, and seasonal factors.

Routes, activities, accommodations, and travel schedules may occasionally require adjustments for safety and operational reasons.
BORDER AREAS & PERMITS

Certain regions in Kyrgyzstan may require special border permits or additional travel documentation.

Mars Travelstan can assist with permit arrangements when possible; however, approval remains subject to local governmental authorities.
  • FORCE MAJEURE Force Majeure &
    Unforeseen Circumstances
    Mars Travelstan shall not be held responsible for delays, route changes, cancellations, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
    These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
    • Severe weather conditions
    • Snowstorms, floods, landslides, or natural disasters
    • Road closures or damaged infrastructure
    • Border restrictions or border closures
    • Political instability or governmental restrictions
    • Flight delays or cancellations
    • Civil unrest, strikes, or local disruptions
    • Health emergencies or pandemics
    In such situations, Mars Travelstan reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transportation, routes, or travel schedules when necessary for traveler safety and operational feasibility.
    We will always make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives and minimize disruptions whenever possible.
  • EMERGENCY & EVACUATION DISCLAIMER
    Remote Travel, Health & Emergency Evacuation
    Many tours and expeditions in Kyrgyzstan take place in remote mountain regions where medical facilities, rescue services, and communication infrastructure may be limited.
    By booking a tour with Mars Travelstan, travelers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with:
    • High-altitude travel
    • Horseback riding activities
    • Trekking and hiking routes
    • Off-road and 4x4 expeditions
    • Remote wilderness environments
    • Extreme weather conditions
    Travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance that includes emergency evacuation coverage.
    Any costs related to medical treatment, rescue operations, evacuation services, or emergency transportation remain the sole responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise stated in writing.
    Mars Travelstan and its partners shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond reasonable operational control during remote travel activities.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Certain services during the tour may be provided by third-party suppliers including hotels, guesthouses, transport providers, guides, or activity operators.

Mars Travelstan carefully selects trusted local partners but cannot be held responsible for operational issues directly caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
