Saimaluu-Tash — One of Central Asia’s Greatest Petroglyph Sites
Hidden high in the mountains of Jalal-Abad Region, Saimaluu-Tash is one of the world’s most extraordinary collections of ancient rock art. The site contains more than 90,000 petroglyphs believed to date back over 3,000 years.
Spread across remote alpine valleys, the carvings depict animals, hunting scenes, rituals, and early nomadic life. Due to its isolated location and dramatic mountain landscapes, Saimaluu-Tash is considered one of Kyrgyzstan’s most unique adventure and cultural destinations.
