KARA-SUU & KAPKA-TASH LAKES HORSEBACK TOUR – 3 DAYS

Your horseback adventure begins in Ozgorush Village, where you will meet your local horseman and be introduced to your horse.
Before departure, your guide will provide a short riding briefing and explain the basic techniques needed for riding in mountain terrain.
Leaving the village behind, begin riding toward Taktalyk, passing through open valleys, summer pastures and increasingly remote mountain landscapes.
As the route continues deeper into the mountains, enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks, rivers and alpine meadows. The peaceful trail offers a true feeling of travelling through one of Kyrgyzstan's less-visited regions.
After a break for lunch along the route, continue toward Kara-Suu Lake, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
Upon arrival, settle into the mountain camp and enjoy some free time to explore the surroundings or simply relax beside the lake.

Note: Take only the clothing and personal belongings required for the horseback journey. Your main luggage can remain safely in Ozgorush Village.

After breakfast, continue your horseback journey deeper into the mountains.
Leaving Kara-Suu Lake, follow remote trails through alpine valleys, mountain pastures and rugged terrain toward Kapka-Tash Lake.
This is one of the most adventurous sections of the tour, taking you far from villages and roads into an area where the landscape remains almost completely untouched.
Along the way, stop for lunch and give both riders and horses time to rest before continuing through the mountains.
The scenery changes throughout the day, with broad valleys, rocky mountain slopes, rivers and high-altitude pastures creating an impressive backdrop for the ride.
In the afternoon, arrive at Kapka-Tash Lake and settle into the camp.
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the feeling of being completely immersed in the Kyrgyz mountains.

After breakfast in the mountains, prepare for the final day of your horseback journey.
Leave Kapka-Tash Lake and begin riding back toward Ozgorush Village, following scenic mountain trails through valleys and traditional grazing areas.
The return journey offers a final opportunity to enjoy the remote landscapes of the region and observe the traditional summer pastures used by local shepherd families.
Your local horseman will choose the most suitable trail depending on weather and trail conditions.
After several hours of riding, descend gradually toward Ozgorush and return to the village, completing your three-day horseback expedition.
Upon arrival, enjoy a well-deserved meal and time to rest after the journey.
