After breakfast, descend from Son-Köl Lake via the spectacular Kalmak-Ashuu Pass (3,446 m), enjoying panoramic views of alpine landscapes, rolling pastures, and remote mountain valleys.
Stop in Kochkor, one of Kyrgyzstan's most important centres of traditional handicrafts, and visit the renowned Altyn Kol Women's Cooperative, where local artisans create beautiful handmade shyrdaks using techniques passed down through generations.
Continue to Bokonbaev, a charming village located on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Optional traditional eagle hunting demonstration can be arranged in Bokonbaev village, showcasing one of Kyrgyzstan's most iconic nomadic traditions and the unique relationship between hunter and golden eagle. Afterwards, relax on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, enjoy a swim during the summer season, or take a peaceful walk along the lakeshore before settling into a traditional lakeside yurt camp hosted by a local family.
